Welcome to The Baby Decision official website! I’m glad that you are here.
I am so honored to have served you as your coach or psychotherapist and as the author of The Baby Decision, which so many of you have used to make the right decision for you. For 45 years, it has been my pleasure to dedicate myself to helping you choose between being childfree and becoming a parent. I am grateful to have coached four generations and worked with people from all over the world and all walks of life.
Although I continue to do some Baby Decision Coaching, I am devoting time to training and preparing a younger generation of coaches and psychotherapists to continue my work. I am in good health, but now in my mid 70s, it is time to face my own mortality and to plan for succession.
I’m delighted that Vanessa Bombardieri, who is my daughter and a decision coach, asked me to train and mentor her. Although I am the elder expert, I am constantly learning from Vanessa’s creativity, insight and perspective. I think you will enjoy working with her as well as me.

I’m absolutely thrilled to join The Baby Decision and so honored to be working with parenthood decision-makers. I’m so thankful to my mom for teaching me through her work that motherhood is a choice. It made my own personal journey of remaining childfree that much easier and more fruitful. I leveraged my childfree choice to move towards the things in my life that are important to me, which include my identity as an artist, my relationship, and new experiences such as freedom to travel.
I chose to follow my mom into this work because I experienced how impactful it could be. I came to coaching from an unfulfilling career in not-for-profit work and have found an ease and fit that I never experienced before.
For me, this work is about who my clients are — who they want to be — and if they are coupled, how they want to be as a couple. You can learn more about my background here.
Coaching is an honor and a privilege and I look forward to helping you make the choice that is best for YOU. I’m finding my life truly enriched by coaching and I look forward to supporting you through your decision-making journey.
